The easiest method for most people is probably to just pick a cloud provider (iCloud, Proton Drive, Backblaze, Google Drive, etc.), install their apps on your devices and set them up and just leave them alone. That doesn't really follow the "3-2-1" rule, but it gets you "a" backup that is off-site. Once the app is set up you shouldn't have to do a whole lot with it, but if disaster ever strikes you'll be glad you took the time to set it up.
